Project help wanted |
Developers are wanted to write CD-Menus. It doesn't matter if you just want to learn C# or have years of experience. What really matters is you are serious about to work and contribute, otherwise do not waste my time and yours. There are some guidelines here you can follow. We will have a new release each month (approximately). Your name will be added in the about box as soon as your code is used in the program release. You can write the following CD-Menus:
- Software collection: Has a software collection in categories. Each software has a title, description, URL and e-mail of the author, serial number and photo.
- Photo Gallery: Has a collection of photos. The photos will be categorized in albums. It has two views, one as a photo browser and the other as a full screen slideshow. Each photo has a description.
- Web browser: A form that host a web-browser. It will link to a web page in the cd. There are options to be with or without borders, fixed or resizable window. The component to be used is the ActiveX “Microsoft Web Browser”. This article and those code samples by Ted Faison will help you.
If you don't like any of the above, you can write your own cd-menu. It just has to be nice looking, so the others will like it too ;)
For those who are interested send me an e-mail with your skills and experience and what CD-Menu you prefer to do. |
